A real "road trip" - Eight stops along the coast

During your journey along the vast North Shore, you will come across a multitude of towns and villages, each with its own character and unique attractions. Although all deserve our attention, allow me to present to you my selection: The tour of the Coast in 8 villages!

Tadoussac

Whether you just stepped off the ferry or arrived from Saguenay, you are setting foot in the magnificent municipality of Tadoussac, the gateway to the region with the Saguenay Fjord, a natural border with its neighbor Charlevoix. Rich in activities, dining, accommodation, beauty, and various artistic expressions, Tadoussac teems with entertainment for all tastes. Picturesque in many respects, the place also invites relaxation and contemplation, especially with its rocky shores and beach facing Tadoussac Bay.

Les Escoumins

Its brightly colored downtown, firmly rooted in a bay of the great St. Lawrence, is a feast for the eyes. Dining, marine discovery center, maritime traffic center, diving, sea kayaking, hiking trails, whale watching cruises, and more.

Colombier

A small gem of varieties, Colombier offers you the delights of Boréale confectionery, vegetables from the Serre de Colombier, the monument of remembrance dedicated to genealogy in its old cemetery, and the Hickey Marsh lookout with its multitude of birds to observe!

Pointe-aux-Outardes

Near Baie-Comeau, away from Highway 138, come admire the majestic St. Lawrence River and the endless beaches of Pointe-aux-Outardes. Clam picking in season, swimming, and playing in the waves, come enjoy the sun and picnic on the warm sand. Not to mention the splendid Nature Park and its various activities.

Baie-Trinité and Pointe-des-Monts

The magnificent Pointe-des-Monts lighthouse, located just 12 kilometers from Baie-Trinité, offers you a must-see maritime historical monument, an extraordinary view, and a welcoming guesthouse. Dining, beaches, and accommodation also await you in Baie-Trinité.

Rivière-au-Tonnerre

Admire the high river falls, whose sound will immerse you in a thunderous ambiance! You will be charmed by the Norman-style church, while strolling on a wooden sidewalk that favors the observation of marine mammals. Looking for relaxation and rejuvenation? This is the place to be.

Havre-Saint-Pierre

Havre-Saint-Pierre is the Mingan Archipelago National Park Reserve and its impressive natural sculptures. But it's also cruises, shows, the beach, whales, arts and culture, a good meal, and an incomparable panoramic view of the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

Natashquan

A place of culture, the festival of storytelling and the legend of Innucadie, hiking trails, and dreamy beaches. Gilles Vigneault's birthplace will allow you to live to the rhythm of the relaxing waves and the sea.
