It's already August, and it feels like summer is coming to an end. Fear not! The seasonal attractions of the North Shore will remain available for several more weeks for the most part, and there are still several events to come this month!
August 3rd and 10th: Suspension bridge, zipline, and astronomy at Attitude Nordique in Baie-Comeau
During the summer season, Attitude Nordique organizes numerous events combining outdoor adventures, gastronomy, and music. On August 3rd and 10th, the teams from Attitude Nordique and Parc Nature de Pointe-aux-Outardes welcome you to the St-Pancrace lookout for an evening of astronomical phenomenon interpretation and thrills. Several other events will take place before the end of the month, such as SUP x Perseids x Gin on August 19th.

August 3rd to 5th: North Shore Beer Festival in Baie-Comeau
After its successful return last summer, the favorite festival of hop enthusiasts is expected to delight the public once again. This year, a wide range of craft beers, spirits, and local products will be showcased by on-site microbreweries, distilleries, and food vendors. A musical lineup, including Maten, CCR Reborn, and Rock Story, will entertain participants.

August 1st to 8th: Innu Nikamu Festival in Mani-Utenam
Innu Nikamu is one of the most significant festivals of Indigenous music and arts in the eastern part of the continent. It's synonymous with celebration, sharing, and cultural exchanges. For 39 years, it has been the gathering place for artisans, families, and tourists visiting the region.

August 10th to 12th: Festi-GrÎles of the North Shore in Sept-Îles
This year, there will be approximately thirty booths present, including microbreweries, distilleries, restaurants, and barbecue equipment suppliers, all accompanied by music performances. Several workshops and demonstrations are scheduled throughout the weekend!

August 10th to 13th: Festival of Storytelling and Legend of Innucadie in Natashquan
Recognized as a niche cultural tourism destination, the village of Natashquan and the surrounding sites of the Innu community of Nutashkuan bring to life these few days experienced in an imaginary and united country named Innucadie. This edition will bring together talented artists and artisans on-site, lending their languages and talents to bring traditional knowledge and skills to life, both Acadian and Innu.

The Marine Festival of Les Escoumins is back from August 31st to September 3rd. A mini-golf tournament, a parade of floats, activities for the whole family, communal feasts, and shows are scheduled for this long weekend.
