At the heart of Middle Bay, the Interpretation Center offers an immersion into the history and heritage of surrounding villages such as Rivière-Saint-Paul and Vieux Fort. Recently renovated, this center, housed in the old school, permanently exhibits artifacts and images that narrate the region's past. Eastward, the extension of Highway 138 begins at Baie du Vieux-Fort, a community steeped in a fascinating history and vibrant cultural traditions.
