The Chicoutai Scenic Route

Avid adventurers who love experiencing new destinations will enjoy traveling “The Chicoutai Scenic Route”, where all senses will be amazed. This collection of panoramic views will definitely take your breath away as you travel from village to village along the coastline of the Gulf of Saint-Lawrence. The 76 kilometres of route #138 between Blanc-Sablon and Vieux-Fort showcase the local flavours and know-how, walking trails, restaurants, accommodations and other services offered in the area. It is the eastern-most section of Quebec's highway #138, ending in Vieux-Fort and picks back up much further to the west in Kegaska. Among the attractions along this route, we find, in particular, the scallop farm “Aqua Labadie”, the “Coop de solidarité Bioproduits” where you can taste various products made with wild berries, and the “Whitely Museum”.
