The Gourmet Road Trip Project!
The Gourmet Road Trip, initiated by Tourisme Côte-Nord, offers a unique immersion into the heart of North Shore delights. The growing enthusiasm for agritourism is palpable, and the Côte-Nord is no exception to this trend. Over the years, a range of agritourism businesses has emerged, embodying the authenticity and quality of local products.
Passionate producers and artisans have joined forces to create exceptional products made from 100% North Shore ingredients. These products, true treasures of the terroir, stand out in the market for their freshness and unique character. Thus, the Côte-Nord is now asserting itself as a must-visit destination for epicureans in search of new flavors and memorable gastronomic experiences.
With the aim of promoting these local treasures, Tourisme Côte-Nord has launched an innovative project: The Gourmet Road Trip. For the past three years, this bold initiative has involved sending boxes filled with regional products to various media outlets specialized in agritourism and gastronomy, both at the regional and provincial levels. This communication strategy helps to showcase the richness and diversity of North Shore flavors while highlighting the work of local businesses and producers.
